RAMS Program - October RAMS is a welcoming and inclusive after-school program offered by the Marshfield Recreation Department, designed for elementary and middle school students who require additional support to participate in recreational activities. Participants attend the program with the support of their ABA therapists and work on their individual goals alongside peers and volunteers from our community. Our program provides a safe, supportive space where kids can build life skills, make friends, and have fun—at their own pace. Each afternoon, participants explore a variety of hands-on activities, including:
Cooking – Simple, fun, and confidence-boosting kitchen skills
Crafts & Creativity – Art projects that encourage self-expression
Life Skills & Community Outings – Real-world skills like shopping and money handling
Social Skills Practice – Group games, conversation activities, and peer interaction
Recreation & Fitness – Movement-based games and activities to promote health and teamwork
Whether your child attends once a week or every day, they’ll find a consistent routine, caring staff, and activities tailored to their individual strengths and interests. We focus on creating fun, low-pressure experiences in a structured environment, where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered.
